CAD Engineer

Location: Chennai

Relevant Experience: 3 – 5 years

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the HVAC industry
• Expertise in Solid Edge or Creo is required
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards, including ASHRAE & ISHRAE standards.

Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings of HVAC components and systems using Solid Edge or Creo.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and optimize product designs.
• Generate BOMs and assist in the preparation of manufacturing documentation.
• Perform design calculations and analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on manufacturability, cost, and product improvements.
