- Job Summary
- We are seeking motivated and skilled CAE Durability Engineers with 2–5 years of experience in structural durability analysis using HyperMesh along with Abaqus or Nastran. The candidate will be responsible for FE model preparation, durability simulations, result interpretation, and providing design recommendations for automotive and engineering applications.
- Key Responsibilities
- ● Develop and maintain high-quality finite element (FE) models using HyperMesh.
- ● Perform structural, durability, and fatigue analyses using Abaqus and/or Nastran.
- ● Carry out model cleanup, midsurface extraction, meshing, connections, and quality checks.
- ● Create and validate weld, bolt, adhesive, and fastener representations in FE models.
- ● Conduct linear and nonlinear structural analyses as required.
- ● Perform durability assessments and fatigue life predictions for vehicle/body/chassis/sub-system components.
- ● Correlate CAE results with test data and support model updating activities.
- ● Interpret simulation results and provide design improvement recommendations.
- ● Work closely with design, testing, and manufacturing teams to resolve structural issues.
- ● Prepare technical reports and present analysis findings to internal and customer teams.
- ● Ensure adherence to customer standards, CAE processes, and quality requirements.
- Educational Qualification
- ● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
