● Design and develop bus interior components including flooring, side trims, ceiling panels, partitions, seats, luggage areas and driver cabin components.
● Develop 3D models, assemblies and detailed engineering drawings.
● Perform interior packaging, ergonomics, accessibility and clearance studies.
● Ensure proper interfaces with body structure, electrical, HVAC and other vehicle systems.
● Consider passenger comfort, safety, serviceability and manufacturability.
● Support prototype builds, testing, validation and design modifications.
● Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.

● Strong knowledge of bus / automotive interior design and development.
● Experience with plastics, composites, sheet metal, trim and interior components.
● Understanding of ergonomics, passenger packaging and mounting concepts.
● Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up and manufacturing processes.
● Understanding of serviceability and component installation/removal.
● Good cross-functional coordination skills.
