CAD – Design Engineer

• Key Responsibilities

• ● Develop 3D models of automotive components using CATIA V5 Part Design and Generative Shape Design (GSD).
• ● Create Class-A/B/C surfaces and solid models based on customer requirements.
• ● Prepare 2D drawings with GD&T and manufacturing details.
• ● Perform design modifications based on engineering change requests (ECNs).
• ● Ensure compliance with automotive design standards and quality requirements.
• ● Coordinate with cross-functional teams including CAE, tooling, and manufacturing.
• ● Maintain design documentation and support design reviews.

• Required Skills

• ● 2–6 years of experience in CATIA V5 Part Design and Surface Modelling.
• ● Good knowledge of Generative Shape Design (GSD) and Assembly Design.
• ● Experience in automotive plastic, sheet metal, or cast components.
• ● Understanding of GD&T, drafting standards, and manufacturing processes.
• ● Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
