- Job Title: DVA Modeler (Dimensional Variation Analysis Engineer)

- Job Description:
- ● Create, maintain, and validate Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) models to simulate assembly processes, tolerances, and CAD data for predicting dimensional variation and product quality.
- ● Gather and analyze engineering inputs, including CAD models, locating strategies, input tolerances, and design specifications, for DVA model development.
- ● Perform Appearance DVA assessments for exterior and interior components in accordance with DCD standards and prepare summary reports.
- ● Execute Functional DVA studies for UN/UP functional requirements, create DVA models, and prepare technical memo reports documenting analysis, tolerances, and results.
- ● Conduct What-If DVA studies for attachment, packaging, alignment, TVM actions, and vehicle systems such as powertrain, exterior, interior, exhaust, battery, engine, and chassis to evaluate design alternatives and recommend improvements.
- ● Perform Supplier End Item GD&T DVA studies, develop DVA models for supplier assemblies, prepare evidence books, and document study results as per engineering standards.
- ● Validate DVA simulation results, troubleshoot model discrepancies, update DVA models, and incorporate feedback from GDME/DCD Engineers to ensure accurate predictions.
- ● Support post-FDJ to OKTB DVA deliverables (DVA X to DVA 3) while ensuring ontime delivery and zero quality defects.

- ● Basic knowledge of CAD tools (CATIA, NX) and Dimensional Variation Analysis (DVA) concepts.
- ● Understanding of GD&T, Statistical Process Control (SPC), automotive engineering principles, and suspension systems.
- ● Hands-on experience with Vis VSA (Vis Mockup), Teamcenter/Active Workspace, and MS Office.
- ● GD&T certification is preferred and will be an added advantage.
