Job Summary
Support the design, prototyping, and testing of microcontroller (MCU) and electronic control unit (ECU) boards for automotive applications, emphasizing schematic design, PCB layout, and basic validation under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with schematic capture and PCB layout using tools like KiCad or Altium Designer.
- Select MCU components and peripherals compliant with AEC-Q100 standards.
- Perform basic hardware debugging with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
- Document designs and support prototype assembly and bring-up.
- Conduct preliminary signal integrity and EMI checks.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Proficiency in PCB design software and fundamentals of digital/analog circuits.
- Basic knowledge of MCU architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M) and protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C).
- Familiarity with embedded C for initial firmware testing.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to LTSpice for basic simulations.
- Awareness of ISO 26262 functional safety basics.
- 0-2 years in MCU/ECU hardware.
