Job Summary
We are looking for highly motivated Chemical / Petrochemical Engineers with a Master’s degree or Ph.D. who are fresh out of academic or research environments and interested in building a career in process analytics, modeling, and engineering applications.
The role involves working on data-driven process analysis, simulation, optimization, and development of engineering solutions for industrial systems, particularly in the chemical, petrochemical, and process industries.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, or related disciplines
- Fresh graduates or recent Ph.D. / Master’s researchers are encouraged to apply
- Strong foundation in:
- Chemical process engineering and thermodynamics
- Transport phenomena and reaction engineering
- Process modeling and simulation
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Familiarity with one or more of the following:
- Aspen HYSYS / Aspen Plus / gPROMS / ChemCAD or similar tools
- MATLAB / Python or other scientific computing tools
- Basic knowledge of data analysis, statistics, or machine learning is a plus
- Understanding of:
- Process monitoring, optimization, and control concepts
- Industrial process data (time series, sensor data, operating parameters)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support development of process analytics, simulation, and optimization models
- Analyze process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Assist in building digital models of industrial processes (steady-state and dynamic)
- Work with senior engineers and data scientists to translate research concepts into practical engineering solutions
- Document models, methodologies, and results in a clear and structured manner
