About the Program
This Student Innovation Program is designed for early-career and aspiring CAD and vehicle design engineers who are passionate about mobility, product design, and engineering.
The program offers students an opportunity to work on real vehicle design challenges, learn industry-standard tools, and gain hands-on exposure to how vehicles are designed – from early concepts to detailed CAD models.
What You Will Work On
- Vehicle design concepts – exterior, interior, and basic layout development.
- 3D modeling using CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX (UG NX), or Creo.
- Surface and solid modeling based on sketches, styling inputs, and engineering guidelines.
- Basic packaging studies and layout feasibility.
- Preparing CAD visuals and simple presentations for internal design reviews.
- Iterating designs based on technical and styling feedback.
